When You Get through a Trigger Try This!
Be sure to congratulate and reward yourself when you get through a trigger!
- Be proud of yourself!
- Say encouraging things to like "I did it." "I got through that!" "I'm learning to deal with this."
- Reward yourself with a special treat.
- Talk to a friend or someone else you trust about how you got through it. Be sure to choose someone who will encourage and congratulate you!
