Triggers can make you freak out!

If you experience a trauma trigger it is completely normal to freak out! In fact, you may not even be able to control some of your reactions.

 

Emotional Reactions

 

  • Sadness
  • Anxiety
  • Fear
  • Anger

       Physical Reactions

 

  • Racing heart
  • Out of Breath
  • Tummy Trouble
  • Dizzy

 

The best way to get some control over your triggers is to figure out what situations are causing you to react. This will give you a chance to prepare ahead of time. It might help to make a list any trauma triggers that you are currently aware of that bother you.
