DepressionEveryone feels sad from time to time… Feeling depressed is common, especially during times of extreme hardship or loss… The emotions you feel after a trauma –sadness, bitterness, anger, grief- are both normal and necessary. Usually these feelings lessen over time and life begins to feel bearable again. Sometimes, however, difficult feelings of irritability, sadness, or loneliness can persist. You may feel unmotivated, tired, or cry more often than usual. Sometimes normal activities may seem to require the greatest effort. If you feel this way, you are not alone! Such feelings may be signs that you are struggling with depression. Luckily, help is out there!
